Last friday we went to Thenmala, a tourist place near TN-Kerala border near Shenkottah.
Me, Kavin with other 15 mates from TVM. We got a cab for this trip. The trip was really
nice. We started at 6:30 Am on Saturday.

We went to a dam at first named Parappa dam. It is almost filled with more than 110 feet
height of water. That place was really very cool with nice atmosphere and surroundings.
We made a round trip through the dam's reservoir. Then there was a adventures zone
nearby some 500 yards ahead from the dam.

We got tickets for it from the dam's ticket counter. There is a Elevated walker through
the forest trees. It was raining at the time when we went there. So we could not able to
experience mountain climbing(trekking), we really missed it. There was a small pond inside
there. Since it was raining we could not able to boat also. But we had a river crossing ride.
They will tie up a belt on our hip  with a rope. we have to cross the pond with the rope
tied around us. It was a different experience. Most of the fellows got afraid to
come for this :). Then one more ride from the mountain to the land by crossing the pond.
It is also similar to the river crossing. But it was somewhat thrilling than the previous one.

After that we went to Paalaruvi which is almost in TN border, some 10 KM away from
Shenkottah. I really like that water falls more than other places. The water was heavily
pouring since it was heaviy raining at that time we went. We spent almost two hours
there. This is my first time to that water falls. I loved that place very much
it was a place with pure nature.

From the beginning itself some of the friends had a plan for drinking toddy. But till the end
of the trip they didn't able to get it :). I will update all the photos ASAP. Next week
we have planned for a trip to Azhapuzha. Let us see.
